At Meridan State College, every child's learning journey begins with a commitment to excellence, curiosity and belonging. From the very first Playgroup experience through to Prep and beyond, the College's exceptional Early Years program provides children with the confidence, skills and support they need to thrive.

The journey begins with Mini Marlins Playgroup, held every Friday morning in the College's Prep Precinct. Designed for young children and their parents or carers, Playgroup offers a welcoming environment where children can explore, play and build confidence while families connect with one another and experience the vibrant Meridan State College community.

From Prep, children are immersed in an exceptional Early Years program where highly experienced teachers inspire curiosity, creativity and confidence, supported by a dedicated leadership team committed to excellence. The program is enriched by including staff who have undertaken professional learning through the internationally renowned Reggio Emilia educational program in Italy, bringing innovative, child-centred practices into the classroom. Together with the College's Mini Marlins Sport and Arts Development programs, children are encouraged to explore their interests, develop new skills and build a lifelong love of learning.

Prep enrolments are now open, and all families are warmly invited to discover what makes Meridan State College such a special place to begin a child's educational journey.
