Meridan State College is located in the suburb of Little Mountain, which is a safe and friendly neighbourhood that comprising of new or established families. We have local shops, parks and play equipment all within walking distance of our College and major shopping centres are within 5-10 minutes away in each direction. Public transport is very safe, simple and easy to use on the Sunshine Coast and we have the local bus stop directly outside our College to make is easy for students to get to and from school each day. We also have multiple bikes enclosures on our school grounds, if students wish to ride their bike to school each day.
Meridan State College is only 3.6km's to some of the best Surf Beaches the Sunshine Coast has to offer such as Dicky's Beach, Shelly Beach and Kings Beach. Dicky Beach is where we will be conducting our Surf Awareness Class and Lessons for our International students during Term 1 and 3.
Our local public and private Sunshine Coast Hospital are only 5 minutes away from our College and local doctors right next to the College, which is a good peace of mind for international families for any and all their health needs.
