2024 Year 12 Formal

The 2024 Year 12 College Formal is fast approaching and students are invited to participate in this extracurricular activity.

FORMAL DETAILS:

• The formal will be held at Meridan State College, Sports Performance Centre on Tuesday 10 September 2024.

• The cost for the formal will be $110.00 Formal Ticket

• 4:15pm Gates will open

Students will be let out of the car by a Deputy Principal. The driver (if not an MSC Student) must remain in the car and leave the drop off point once the students have exited the vehicle. Arrival photos will be taken by MSC Staff and Sunshine Coast Daily.

Canapes will be offered for guests, family and close friends from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

• Formal commences at 6:00pm

• Formal concludes at 9:00pm

• Only current MSC Year 12 students may attend.

• This is an alcohol-free event and all College behaviour expectations must be adhered to Student Code of Conduct There will be police presence on the evening throughout the event.

• Dietary requirements must be emailed to Mrs Clara Marshall choga38@eq.edu.au by Friday 2 August 2024, Week 4 Term 3. ​ Students can obtain this invitation during lunch breaks from Monday 12 August 2024, Week 6, Term 3

 PAYMENT DETAILS:

 Once Students have obtained an invitation to purchase a ticket, they will need to show this invitation at Client Services Finance Window to purchase their tickets.

Year 12 students are able to a purchase formal ticket between Monday 12th August and Friday 30th August 2024.

Our Finance Office is open between 8:00am – 12:00pm, Monday – Friday

 

ARRIVALS:

Arrival times are scheduled according to the allocated tables to manage traffic.

Students will receive a table number at the time of purchasing their ticket and are to ensure they arrive during the allocated window of time.

Once the canape service has completed, (expected between 5.00pm to 6.00pm), students will move as a cohort around to their formal venue in the Sports Centre.

Bags will be checked for any contraband and students will be required to present their ticket for entry. REMEMBER YOUR TICKET or even take a photo in case you forget it in the rush and excitement!



VIEWING STUDENT ARRIVALS:

  • Parents, guardians, family, friends and partners are encouraged to gather and watch students arriving but must do so from a designated zone MARKED in PURPLE on the below map.
