To ensure that every student at Meridan State College has access to digital technology, the College offers an optional laptop hire program – the Meridan Laptop Program. This program allows for students to hire a laptop from the college for a fee, which operates under Education Queensland’s standardised operating environment giving students access to our school network and software, that they can take home each night.
The preferred method of application is via the Meridan Laptop Program Online application form which will trigger an invoice to be issued to you and must be paid in full before the device will be allocated. Our Student Laptop Charter (PDF, 812KB) document explains the rules, responsibilities and obligations of the parties involved with the agreement. Please note that there can be approximately 1 week wait between the form submission (with payment) and the student receiving the laptop (time of year dependent). Students will need to check student notices or the information screen at the IT HELP Desk to check when their device is ready for collection.
Meridan Laptop Program Fees
The program fee is $300 per school year but may be applied prorated if taken up later in the year.
Please note that laptop supply is limited. The digital application form will be closed when all MLP devices are allocated. In this case please contact email@example.com for any further information.
A laptop cannot be guaranteed unless payment has been made to accounts and the online application form has been received by the IT Department.
