M.A.D. (Meridan Athletic Development) training occurs each Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings.
These sessions are totally optional but highly encouraged to improve individual fitness levels of all Marlin athletes.
Engaging in fitness training outside of sport-specific team and squad training allows coaches to spend more time on skill and tactical development during the short training times they have.
MAD training delivers high-quality age-appropriate fitness that can be beneficial across all sports.
Each training day has a different focus, so athletes can target their own needs from:
- strength and conditioning - Monday
- speed and agility - Wednesday
- endurance and stamina - Friday
These training sessions run most weeks of the year commencing at 8:00am sharp.
