Additional Opportunities

​Whilst our Marlins Performance Program focuses on our five pillar sports, there are potentially many additional opportunities to be involved in other sports as a Meridan Marlin.  Interschool, regional and state-level competitions are organised by many sporting organisations throughout the year and our participation in these competitions is based on student interest and enthusiasm. 

Each sport is allocated a staff member as a College Coordinator.  As information about various competitions is forwarded to the College, each opportunity is given consideration.  Where there is enough student interest, if the expense is reasonable and the time away from class is rational then we enter the competition.  In these circumstances a coach is allocated and training commences.  

Although the following list is not exhaustive, these sports are considered each year, and students should register their interest with the Sports Coordinator and can petition to be involved.
