PREPS
Hi there amazing Preps and Parents,
Welcome to the online world of dance and drama for the next few weeks. I hope you are all doing well and know that I am here to support you as we all walk this unusual learning journey together.
Over the next few weeks I have planned, what I hope, will be some really fun dance activities for you do. Dance is usually only 30 minutes per week and can be done on any day you may feel like you’d like to do something a little bit crazy.
I know that Preps love, love, love to dance and so I have put some great Go Noodle Dance videos into our dance program.  Dance is a great way to help exercise our brains as we learn new dance moves and get our bodies moving.  It’s always good to practice your dancing a few times to help you remember what you need to do.  You can even ask your parents or brothers and sisters to dance along with you, or you could teach them the dance moves.
Please email at any time if you need help with anything or simply want to say hi and share what you’ve been doing in drama.
Welcome to the online world of drama for the next few weeks.

Year 3’s
Hi there amazing Year 3 Students and Parents,
Welcome to the online world of dance and drama for the next few weeks. I hope you are all doing well and know that I am here to support you as we all walk this unusual learning journey together.
Over the next few weeks I have planned, what I hope, will be some really fun drama activities for you do. Drama is usually only 30 minutes per week and can be done on any day you may feel like you’d like to do something a little bit crazy.
Over the next 5 weeks you will be learning a new dance, each week a new part of the dance will be added until you have learnt all the dance moves.  Dance takes time and practice, so each week you will review what you did the week before, stop and watch what you are going to learn this week and then add the two parts together.  To help you remember your dance steps you will need to do the dance more than once.  Remember, if there is a tricky bit you may like to spend a little bit of time to help you learn it or if it’s too tricky you can be creative and change the move to make it easier.
Please email at any time if you need help with anything or simply want to say hi and share what you’ve been doing in drama.

Everything you will need is in my Drama OneNote for your class that you have access too, the one we all looked at during Term 1.
If you are having trouble accessing please let me know so that this can be sorted straight away. Just like in Term 1 your will be doing dance and term 2 is Indian dancing. There are 3 videos you can use to help you in creating your own choreography for a dance.  Enjoy and have lots of fun as you learn about these amazing dances from India.
