On behalf of the College and our P&C we would like to cordially invite all students and their families to attend our end of year celebration event 'Karaoke Carols' on Wednesday 9 December to be held here at the College from 6.00pm to 8.30pm
We have many exciting things planned to celebrate our amazing year and we hope to see you here in your Christmas attire, a rug in hand and a great singing voice. The P&C will be providing various dinner options for you and your family to purchase and of course battery operated candles and glowsticks will be available for sale. See you on Wednesday 9 December!
The basic program for the evening is as follows:
5.30pm: School Gates Open
6.00pm – 7.00pm: Dinner and Markets
7.00pm – 8.30pm: Families sit together for Karaoke Carols
Remember parking is limited around the College so why not plan now where you could park and walk to the College….
Karaoke Carols – Register Now To Secure A Market Stall
The Meridan State College P&C would like to offer our Meridan families the opportunity to apply for a market stall space at our large community event for 2009 ‘Karaoke Carols’. The event will be held on Wednesday 9 December from 6.00pm – 8.30pm and the market square will be open from 6.00pm to 7.30pm.It is anticipated that up to 3000 people will attend. As it is the last week of the school year we believe that this would be a golden opportunity for market stall holders to sell goods ready for the Christmas Season.
The market stalls will be 3m x 3m each space and will incur a $50 rental fee payable to the Meridan State College P&C Association. There will be only 10 stalls available so please register your interest quickly. You will be advised by Friday 21 November if your application has been successful. We are looking for stalls that offer variety, quality and appropriateness for our College families and community.
